Welcome to the Holly Bellsham School of Performing Arts, founded in 2004.  The aim of the school is to provide ‘Fun’ Performing Arts classes so therefore no examinations are taken. Pupils follow a structured syllabus in a fun enjoyable environment without the pressure of exams. We hold Summer Shows, where pupils perform a themed show on stage in a Theatre to an audience and are presented with awards and certificates.  It is their night to shine like the true stars that they are and it is an enjoyable experience for all. Previous shows include ‘Peter Pan’, ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Annie’ 'Alice in Wonderland' and our most recent show 'The Wizard of Oz' at The Stag Theatre.

Lessons are available in Tap, Ballet, Street Dance, Singing and Drama and are held in Petts Wood for age 2 ½ upwards.  These take place on week day evenings and Saturdays, depending on age.  We also offer a variety of additional activities throughout the year including competitions, workshops, West End Workshops and theatre trips. Previous Workshops have included the cast of ‘Hairspray’ the musical, ‘Ghost’ the musical and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ finalists ‘Twist and Pulse’ recently visited the school for a Street Dance Workshop. We held Summer Workshops to the theme of Disney’s ‘Frozen’ and took part in a World Record attempt ‘Tapathon’. Most recently X-Factor finalists ‘Same Difference’ came into the school to give us a ‘POP’ Workshop and we also came first in our first ever Street Dance competition in Essex!

As well as our HBPA show we also give our pupils the opportunity to take part in a wide range of performing opportunities. We work with casting directors that give us a variety of audition and casting opportunities. We recently had a Film producer come into the school to audition our pupils for a new film.  Our pupils have also taken part in ‘Chance to Dance’ at the Stag Theatre as well as performing on the pitch at Wembley Stadium and The Olympic Stadium! Our Pupils were selected to perform in ‘Fiddler on The Roof!’ at The Churchill Theatre and also recorded a Christmas song in a Recording Studio.

In February 2017 our pupils were selected to spend the day dancing with the amazing Street Troupe 'DIVERSITY'!!!

All pupils are required to wear correct uniform in all classes which differs according to the discipline and standard.  Fees are charged per term and are charged according to the duration of the class.  We pride ourselves with our affordable competitive fees.
