The Holly Bellsham School of Performing Arts provides classes in the following for both Boys and Girls.

Tap and Ballet Classes are suitable for ages 2 1/2 +, Drama age 4+ Street Dance age 3+ and Singing age 4+, however exceptions may be made according to ability.

TAP teaches pupils to appreciate music and rhythm as well as coming into contact with various counting techniques which are needed when learning routines.  Here pupils will learn to make their own rhythm through their feet.

BALLET is the core foundation of dance.  It is here that pupils gain their main strength and basic technique. Here we work on gaining correct posture from an early age as well as working on spacial awareness and grace.

DRAMA is aimed at building self confidence and social interaction as well as working on self expression and performance.  These lessons involve exercises which will incorporate working with others as a team as well as individually.  Improvisation exercises will allow pupils to explore their own imagination as well as learning to act quickly to instruction.  Reading work will be used to encourage pupils to use vocal expression. Older pupils will work on a variety of vocal techniquesas well as scripted plays, allowing a more in depth involvement within the various different genres of drama.  These students will also work on basic audition technique skills and look at the various different aspects involved within professionsal theatre.

SINGING develops pupils musical awareness, and listening skills as well as developing their own natural singing voice.  Here pupils will learn the correct techniques to warming up the voice using different vocal exercises.  A wide repertoire of songs will be learn including Pop, Disney and Musical Theatre.  These classes will teach pupils how to sing as part of a group with harmonies as well as gaining the confidence to sing solo.
